Steve heads up our leadership team with a passion for Bible teaching and preaching to mature all in Christ. With a heart for growing and recognising the gifts of all within the church, Steve sees "every member ministry" as essential to growing the Kingdom of God. Steve is married to Mands and they have two daughters. His PhD, awarded in 2025, is entitled "The Law of Moses in John’s Prologue: the Law as Central to a Jewish Fourth Gospel". Steve is also passionate about theological education and tutors in New Testament to those training for Church of England leadership ministry. He enjoys great company, food, playing music, techy stuff and a good laugh.
